Mark has worked in the housing sector for over 25 years, including over 5 years at a senior executive level.

He has particular expertise in the development of new homes, and has been responsible for a wide variety of new build and refurbishment programmes, providing affordable homes for thousands of tenants and home owners. He is also the Board member responsible for complaints. 

He was Executive Director for Development & Sales at Optivo until 2018. He has played key roles in two significant housing association mergers, and has also been responsible for commercial property and facilities management. He is also a Non-Executive Director for a community based Housing Association in east London. 

He has lived in Kent for over 30 years and joined the Board at the beginning of 2020.
