We’re pleased to be providing 28 new affordable homes in Maidstone town centre in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council and contractor Purelake New Homes.
There’ll be 94 homes in total across the two sites at Union Street and Brunswick Street. We’ll provide 23 homes for affordable rent and five for shared ownership.
Twenty-six homes will be sold through the sales arm of Purelake. The remaining 40 homes are allocated for market rent which will form part of the Council’s portfolio under Maidstone Property Holdings.
Work at the two sites will be starting soon. It follows a ground breaking event held at the end of October, when the Mayor of Maidstone, Councillor David Naghi officially opened the sites for preparation work to start. All of the homes are due to be completed by September 2020.

This ambitious redevelopment project will not only transform the local areas in which they sit, but will also create a portfolio of high-quality new homes available to communities within the borough.
