New Lockdown Measures – we’re still here to help you
As we enter another national lockdown, I wanted to take the opportunity to remind you that we’re here to help you.
Our top priority is your safety and wellbeing – this won’t change now or in the future.
We’re following, very closely, the government guidance. As our services are already operating in a COVID-secure way, we’re not making any changes to them at the moment. This includes operating our repairs service as normal and continuing to let homes, so everyone has a safe and secure home during this pandemic.
If you have a repair, we contact you about either essential work we need to do to your home or a visit to see you that we need to carry out, I want to reassure you that our teams will follow all social distancing and safety advice. It’s important to us that you and they are safe while they are in your home. We’ve published information on our website about what you can expect from us when we visit your homes and what we need you to do while we’re with you.
Please remember if you have an appointment booked with us but you, or one of your household have had a positive COVID-19 test or are self-isolating, you must let us know immediately.
As we head into winter, we know it will bring with it its own challenges. It’s important that you have a safe and warm home as the temperature drops, so please work with us so we can make this happen. This includes letting our operatives and contractors into your home to do essential work like gas safety, electrical, asbestos and smoke alarm testing.
I’d like to remind you our Broadside office continues to be closed so please don’t visit. However, our colleagues are still available to support you, and you can get in touch in the normal ways.
