A new home brings about new opportunities
Mildred Livingston has recently become a proud homeowner through a shared ownership opportunity with mhs homes. She’s now settled and enjoying her new home in Lenham.
Mildred’s house completed in October 2021 and she was able to move in 8 months ago. Now she is settled in her new place, she can fully appreciate her spacious home and village life.
Mildred said “The thing I enjoy most about my new house is definitely the privacy. Whilst my home is just a short trip from Lenham village, it still manages to benefit from the calm and quietness of the surrounding area.
“Being close to the train station means that I have the opportunity of being involved in or away from the madding crowd. It also means my daughter and grandson can enjoy the peaceful location with me whenever they want.”
Our flagship development at Lenham provides new houses and flats comprising of affordable and social rent, shared ownership and private rent homes. Each home is built to a high specification and has plenty of living space.
As mhs homes looks at providing sustainable homes, they all include car charging points and solar panels on the roofs.
Mildred went on to say “I would 100% recommend a shared ownership property with mhs homes because of the high standard of the design and space in my home. Sometimes the moving process can be slow and stressful but mhs homes made sure it was worthwhile through the quality of my home – I even got a free voucher from them for sending a photo of my new home.”
The three-bedroom shared ownership home boasts modern fitted bathrooms and kitchens, along with integrated appliances - not to mention a downstairs toilet and en-suite for the master bedroom. These features along with a private garden make it a great option for when family comes to visit, as Mildred’s daughter Felicity and grandson Isaiah like to do regularly.
The development is due to complete in 2023 meaning Mildred will have more opportunities to meet and get to know her neighbours in the coming months. The estate also has its own play area upon completion, meaning Mildred’s grandson won't need to stray far to blow off some steam when he comes to visit.
