Our annual Charity Golf Day will take place at Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club on Friday 20 May 2022.

This year we’ll be raising funds for World Child Cancer, who’re the leading international children’s charity dedicated to addressing the global inequality in childhood cancer care.

Founded in 2007, they now support 13 programmes in Africa, Asia and Central America. Their mission is to improve diagnosis, treatment and support for children with cancer, and their families, in low and middle-income countries around the world.

“We are hugely grateful to mhs Homes for supporting us with this fantastic fundraiser and for sharing our vision of a more equal world. Funds raised will enable us to reach even more children with cancer, helping them to access the treatment and care they so desperately need. The World Child Cancer team would like to extend their thanks to mhs – we are keeping our fingers crossed that the sun shines for the golfers!” said Jon Rosser, World Child Cancer Chief Executive.

In addition to the main event there will be activities throughout the day to raise more funds for World Child Cancer, including smaller golf-related competitions and a raffle. The day will end with a two course evening meal in the Clubhouse. There’ll also be the chance to win £5000 in our Hole in One competition!

Golfers of all abilities are welcome to attend and dinner-only tickets are also available for food enthusiasts. The event is open to all so please feel free to share the details with colleagues and friends.

“We are pleased to be able to hold the mhs homes Annual Charity Golf Day in May this year. As this is one of our biggest annual charity events, it is a great way to raise vital funds and spread awareness for a worthy cause.  We are proud to support World Child Cancer as our charity of the year and hope that this year can prove as successful as previous years” Ashley Hook, Chief Executive, mhs homes.

Become an event sponsor

There are many different ways you can get involved in our event.

We’re looking for sponsors, raffle prizes and gift bag donations. If you’d like to support us and World Child Cancer in these ways, please get in touch.

100% of the money raised from sponsorship and the raffle will be donated to World Child Cancer so you can be involved knowing your money is making a difference.

If you’d like to make a financial donation, raffle prize donation or sponsor the event please get in touch: events@mhs.org.uk

Last year’s golf day raised more than £6,600 for our then charity of the year, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). We’re hoping to raise a similar amount this year.

About the venue

Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club was formed in 1929 by a group of Kent golf enthusiasts who invested their time and money in the construction of the course with several of the original holes remaining to this day. This is a members' club, with the main objective being to provide a high-quality course throughout the year.
