Heart of Medway Housing Association completes property transfer from L&Q
mhs homes group is pleased to announce successful completion of phase 1 of a stock transfer of homes and properties in Dartford and Gravesham from L&Q. The transfer will see Heart of Medway, a registered provider and subsidiary of mhs homes group, become landlord for an additional 292 customers, taking on 253 homes in this first phase.
Ashley Hook, chief executive of mhs homes, said: “As a subsidiary of the mhs homes group, Heart of Medway plays an important role in our overall growth strategy, allowing us to deliver more affordable homes and attract new business and opportunities.
“Dartford and Gravesham are important locations for us in terms of our development plans and we’re looking forward to investing in these homes and communities. We’re bringing in extra staff to make sure our new tenants have the support they need from a local housing team.”
With a strong focus on being a visible and caring landlord, mhs homes staff will be out getting to know new customers and welcoming them to Heart of Medway at roadshows over the coming weeks.
