The Kent County Council Household Support Fund winter energy scheme, which supports vulnerable Kent households who are struggling with rising living costs, is now open for applications.
This scheme covers residents of Kent County Council. This means, those permanently living within one of the 12 local authorities covered by Kent County Council (this excludes Medway, Bexley, or Bromley). You can refer yourself to the scheme, or if you're one of our customers one of our colleagues can support you to make an application.
If your application is successful, you'll receive one prepaid card per eligible household to the value of £100 to be used towards energy costs.
Applications for the scheme opened on 9 January 2024 and will close on 29 February 2024, or once the funds have been allocated - whichever is earlier. The fund will operate on a first come, first served basis.
