Residents of Yeoman House, one of our supported living schemes, were recently treated to a flower arranging class from a professional local florist.
The event was run by Frankie Davison, of D&G Florist Strood, who provided all the materials and even brought artificial flowers so that any hay-fever sufferers could take part.
There were exotic fresh blooms and the vases used were from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The Yeoman House residents even put together some cheese boards to make sure nobody got hungry.
Support officer, Nancy Proud, said:
“The residents really enjoyed the hour and a half class. So much so that we will be doing another class in December for Christmas!”
