Domestic abuse charity ‘overwhelmed’ by £10k sponsorship
A charity supporting children affected by domestic abuse says it’s been ‘overwhelmed’ by the generosity of local businesses.
mhs homes’ annual charity golf day has so far raised almost £10,000 in sponsorship alone.
An amazing 34 teams are taking part in the competition and we expect the total raised to be around £20,000 as we tee off tomorrow at Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club.
Child’s Vision chief executive Rachael Hudson said: “I cannot express how much this generous support means to us and the children we work with.
“As a small local charity, the money raised will make a huge difference. Special thanks to everyone that has made this event possible, we are totally overwhelmed! I also offer my heartfelt thanks to mhs homes for choosing us as their charity of the year.”
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored our golf day especially our gold sponsors:
