Our service standards for tackling anti social behaviour, hate crime, and domestic abuse

It's not right to experience any kind of anti social behaviour, hate crime, or domestic abuse. We'll work with you to investigate and tackle any incidents so you can feel safe and secure in your home and community. Our service standards set out what we'll do to help you.

We will:

  • Where there is an allegation of serious harassment or violence, contact you within one working day
  • Contact you within two working days to discuss your report of anti social behaviour
  • Carry out a risk assessment on your circumstances
  • Take a victim-centred approach, ensuring your needs are understood and taken into account
  • Agree an action plan with you, and work alongside other agencies where appropriate to resolve the issue
  • Agree with you how frequently we will update you on our progress
  • Respect your privacy and confidentiality
