In some circumstances we can offer assisted services to customers who need help.
These services include:
- Gardening (please note that our assisted gardening service is at full capacity)
- Home decoration
Gardening
We can help cut your grass between March to October.
This service is on a first come, first served basis and it can be cut approximately every four weeks. Unfortunately, our assisted gardening programme is at full capacity and not currently taking new applications. Check back again next year when we expect more slots to be available.
Check if you qualify
To qualify for the service you must be:
- Registered disabled
- Over 65
And there must not be anyone else living in your home who is under 65 and could reasonably do the work.
You must also be receiving one or more of:
- Disability Living Allowance (medium or high rate)
- Personal Independence Payment (paid at enhanced rate or with mobility component)
- Attendance Allowance
You also need to have:
- A clear rent account or be in an agreed repayment arrangement which you are meeting
- No current anti-social behaviour cases against yourself where legal action has started
- No tenancy breaches where a Notice Of Seeking Possession (NOSP) has been served in the last 12 months

After we receive your application, we'll assess whether you qualify for the assisted services scheme by contacting you and asking you a few more questions.
If your application is successful you'll be added to our waiting list and notified when we have a date to start the work.
