To move in to one of our affordable or social rent homes, you must apply through Kent Homechoice.

Kent Homechoice is the partnership of local authorities and housing associations in Kent that provide social and affordable housing in Kent.

There's a high demand for social housing and those who have the highest housing need have the best chance of getting a home this way.

Our Lettings Standard lets you know what to expect when you move into your home.

To apply:

Your local council will give your application a banding, which will show how much priority you'll get and allow you to start bidding.

Homes will be advertised daily for at least five days. Check Kent Homechoice daily for the best chance of finding a home you like.

How to bid:

You can bid for up to three homes at a time.
