By law we must check your gas appliances every year.
Our partners, Liberty Gas, will contact you to book a gas safety check 6 weeks before your gas safety certificate expires. The gas safety check lasts about 1 hour.
It's important for your safety that you let Liberty Gas in to do these checks. Gas appliances that are not working correctly can produce poisonous fumes, and around 50 deaths a year can be directly attributed to faulty gas appliances. For more information, visit the Gas Safe website.
If we find faulty appliances
If any of your appliances are found to be unsafe or faulty then, by law, they will have to be disconnected.
