Our Foyers provide accommodation and support to young people aged 16 to 25 years old who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Many of the residents have experienced difficult times, and for some this is their first chance to live somewhere safe and supportive.
The accommodation is a mix of self-contained flats and bedsits with shared facilities. Everyone has their own space to call home, along with shared areas where the young people can cook, relax and get to know others.
What makes our Foyers stand out is the support our young residents receive. Our Support Officers are on site during the day to help them settle in, plan for the future and build the skills they need for independent living. This can include help with education or training, finding work, managing money, wellbeing and day-to-day life. There’s also night staff who provide support and ensure safety outside of normal hours.
Young people bring their own strengths, ideas and ambitions, and we’re here to help them develop these and move towards independence with confidence.
